Woman Ironing.

Woman Ironing, 1904. Pablo Picasso.
Oil on Canvas.

Saw this painting in the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
This painting was remarkable. Being a fan of the "blue period" of Picasso when he drew a lot of the blue collar workers, the poor.
very moody, dark pieces. Wide use of gray, black, blue, and white. Great depth.

This painting portrays the weight of this woman's burden so well. The way her head is hanging below her sholders, her staright rigid arm positions, almost hollow eyes...
I'm in love with it.
